AfriOre Limited is a Toronto Stock Exchange listed company, which was formed in 1995 to focus on exploration and mining in Africa. The Company’s executives and senior management have extensive international experience in the mining industry primarily focused on Africa.

AfriOre has built up an attractive portfolio of gold prospects, which include a balance between early-stage and advanced exploration projects. Within the portfolio Siaya and Caprion are early-stage projects, whereas Banankoro represents an intermediate-stage, high-grade, gold exploration project with extensive upside potential, and Dwaalboom is an advanced-stage project with its value highly leveraged to a rising gold price. These projects complement AfriOre's long-term Witwatersrand-type gold project at FSC.

As a result of the disposition of AriOre's coal portfolio, AfriOre is now a focused precious metals company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of gold and platinum properties in Africa.

AfriOre is currently under contract to be sold to Lonmin, subject to certain regulatory and corporate governance required approvals.
